I recently visited Tucson and couldn’t help but satisfy my itch to visit the beautiful resorts the city has to offer. I had the opportunity to visit the JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa and absolutely fell in love with the property!
The resort has everything a couple, their families, and their guests could want in a destination wedding location. We started our tour of this gorgeous wedding venue by learning a bit about the property. This resort is the only one in Tucson that sits on a national park, which means it is rich in history! Every morning, they hold a Native American ritual to which all guests are welcome. This ritual is meant “to inspire you to see your life from a higher perspective” (JW Marriott website). It’s a once in a lifetime experience your guests will never forget!
In addition to it’s rich culture, the JW Marriott Tucson houses a 20,000 square foot ballroom and 575 guest rooms – the perfect destination for a South Asian wedding! There are many unique options available to hold your events outdoors or indoors. They even have an incredible outdoor terrace that can be transformed into just about anything! Outdoor sangeet with lounge furniture, anyone?
When your guests aren’t attending your wedding events, you don’t even have to worry about them having a dull moment. They can enjoy the pool, spa, lazy river, golf course, and numerous restaurants available on site!
