Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to be part of a panel about South Asian weddings. This was part of a 2 day virtual conference hosted by PartySlate called The Main Event. The focus of our panel was to educate industry professionals about wedding traditions and how couples are making them their own.

There were amazing industry leaders on the panel with me – Nirjary Desai of Kis Cubed Events, Yanni Elyash of Yanni Design Studio, and Tracie Domino of Tracie Domino Events. Each of us come from years of experience in the South Asian wedding industry and had unique perspectives to share.

If you weren’t able to catch the session live, we’ve got the recording for you! Click here to register and watch! Our panel was a short part of Party Slate’s 2 day conference. You can check out the rest of the sessions here.

We were able to touch on a few areas of South Asian weddings in the one hour we had, but to tell you everything that goes into planning, we would need several hours. Maybe even days! When I started in this industry there wasn’t a resource or community of people I could reach out to. While there are some resources now, there is still so much information that isn’t being taught.

We want to change that! Events by C now offers coaching services for planers and venues who want to successfully plan South Asian weddings. Contact us to learn more!
